We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about community work to join our small but dedicated team of trustees. This is an unpaid, voluntary role with a minimum time commitment of 5 hours a week required.
Job Role
As the volunteer coordinator you will support our operations by on boarding new volunteers, coordinate and prioritize tasks, be involved with recruitment and liaise with the volunteer organisations we currently work with to ensure we have enough resources to meet the needs of our partners.
Knowledge and Skills Required.
· Confident communication skills.
· Excellent organisational and administration skills
· Ability to work as part of a small but dedicated team of trustees.
· Previous experience in a leadership role.
Desirable skills
· Previous experience as a volunteer coordinator would be an advantage.
Qualities Required
We are a friendly and committed team who require trustees to have a warm and positive attitude. We love what we do, who we work with and the charities and organisations we support. Ideally you thrive in this type of environment and share our passion for supporting families in need.
Previous experience as a charity Trustee is not a requirement to apply but would be a bonus.

You will be responsible for proactively seeking opportunities to secure funding and completing funding applications. Organizing promotional activities, planning promotional campaigns, and reporting to the board of trustees will also be part of your remit.

· Ability to work as part of a small but dedicated team of trustees.
· Experience working in a creative field or can demonstrate a creative mindset.
· Excellent organisational and administration skills.
Desirable skills
· Previous experience in account management would be advantageous.
